Citroen Lose Abu Dhabi Sponsorship

In 2019, Abu Dhabi will not be supporting the Citroen Racing World Rally Team, forcing the team to run only 2 cars in next seasons FIA World Rally Championship.

The team will only have new signings Sébastien Ogier and Esapekka Lappi in its two-car squad for 2019.

In 2018, Citoren provided Sébastien Loeb with a car on three rallies, including on Rally Spain where the nine-time WRC champion took a memorable victory on the mixed surface event.

M-Sport Ford, Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team and the Toyota GAZOO Racing World Rally Team will all have 3 cars competing on all events throughout the year, therefore the French team will struggle in the manufacturer championship.
