The role of a Car Sales Executive is to prospect for new business, meet, greet and qualify customers, present/demonstrate vehicles, appraise part exchanges, present finance packages, close deals and hand over vehicles.
So what type of person does it take to sell cars? You do need to be positive with a modern outlook, customer focussed and self-motivated. As you would expect, Car Sales Executives need to be smart and presentable with a full driving licence. What you may not expect is that you need good admin and IT skills.
To be considered for this role, our client would like someone who is already an experienced Vehicle Sales Executive, preferably with new car experience. They would however be happy to talk to someone who has motor trade experience and selling skills that may have been acquired in another type of business.
