HGV Technician in Billingham – FT6359 Full Time

Our client is a franchised commercial dealership who are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician.

In light of the well-known shortage of Technicians, they are prepared to consider a Car or Van Technician who would be keen to move into HGV repair.

This role will encompass the full range of servicing, vehicle inspections and preparation for MOTs, as well as all of the usual diagnosis and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.

As part of the job, you will take your turn on the shift rota for breakdown callouts.

Ideally you will be qualified and experienced in working on commercial vehicles, but serious consideration will be given to Car or Van Technicians who have the desire to progress their careers.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be adaptable, technically minded, willing to learn and have good attention to detail.

A full current driving licence is essential and an HGV entitlement will be a distinct advantage.
