One-off BMW X6 Painted In The World’s Blackest Black

This one-off BMW X6 has been painted in ‘Vantablack’, also known as the world’s blackest back and the darkest man made substance in the world. This is the first vehicle in the world to use this material.

VBx2 has been used on this BMW X6, which is designed for architectural and scientific use. It is said to absorb 99.97% of light. A surface coated in Vantablack VBX2 loses its defining features to the human eye, with objects appearing 2D.

Surry NanoSystems, the creator, said the X6 was chosen due to it’s unique and expressive design.

BMW claims that the finish “highlights the expressive design language and confident, dominant and muscular appearance of the new BMW X6 to perfection.”
